Llangollen, with its canal, steam railway and River Dee flowing through its centre really is the diamond in the crown of north Wales. You can wine and dine to your heart’s delight in one of the many town centre bars and restaurants and attend one of the many events and concerts held at the International Pavilion (situated just next door to Penddol). There are horse-drawn canal barge trips to the beautiful Horseshoe Falls and if something more adventurous is your thing then there are stunning walks on your doorstep and multiple outdoor activities from mountain biking to white water rafting and canoeing, Llangollen really has something for everyone!

All in all a fantastic place to stay.
Gorgeous lodge with hot tub and beautiful views. Hot tub was ready on arrival for us. Site was very peaceful and dog friendly. Huge field for them to run around at the entrance. Short 7 min lovely walk along the canal into the town we were recommended by Sarah to eat at the corn mill which I highly suggest gorgeous views overlooking the canal and lots of food options. Takeaway delivery from Dee’s pizzas was great too after walking up Snowdon. 1.5 hours to Snowdon which was our reason for staying in North Wales.

Great stay here, short walk into the village and very peaceful which was exactly what we were looking for! Lodge was spotless and hot tub all ready and well needed after a wet day up on Snowdon.

Lovely cabin with a hot tub, relaxing and well worth the money. Short walk to the town along the canal. Leaflets inside of the cabin with recommended places to eat out or to order in. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a weekend away.

We had a great stay. The lodge was super clean and tidy, so was the hot tub. The location was really quiet and private. It was only a short walk along the canal into the town where there are a few restaurants and pubs.

Lovely stay at a beautiful cabin located only a short walk-away to the town. I received clear directions and check-in instructions from Sarah before our stay and the cabin was spotless and smelled lovely when we arrived. Absolutely loved the private hot-tub and wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely little place, nice and private with a great little hot tub. Went for partners 30th Birthday and Sarah (host) even went out her way to get some birthday balloons in. Less than 10 minutes walk away down the canal into the town. Amazing pubs and great breakfast spots all within walking distance. Super quiet at night.
